Al-Jawf, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The brief statements of the spokesman for the seventh military region over the last three days, that the Arab coalition fighters have targeted vehicles for the Houthi militia east of Bir Al-Marazeeq, revealed the extent of the misinformation practiced by the official media for legitimacy regarding the course of the raging battles east of Al-Jawf Governorate.

In the middle of this week, the Yemeni Ministry of Defense announced the control of Bir Al-Marazeeq, the Houthi militia, located east of Al-Hazm, the center of Al-Jawf Governorate, and the start of the battle to liberate the city from the Houthi militia.

This announcement was preceded by similar statements that journalists and activists affiliated with the legitimate media hastened to accompany the military operations carried out by the northern axis with the army and tribes' forces in Al-Jawf, where they confirmed the liberation of the region from the Houthis, in a clear misleading of local, Arab and international public opinion, which revealed its falsity by the people of the province.

The discrepancies in reporting events by the legitimate media also coincided with the battles to liberate the strategic Al-Khanjar camp, as field sources revealed, after an official announcement of its liberation, that the Houthis had regained the camp, and the army’s website fell into a media flaw that shook its credibility in reporting events when it was attributed to the governor of Al-Jawf claiming to liberate his real home.  In Bir al-Marazeeq, in the context of the declaration of the liberation of the region, it was proven false, which the governor himself denied.

In light of what they described as the "media confusion" accompanying the progress of the military operations, military and civilian leaders of the province went to explain the true course of events, warning of the consequences, including the noticeable decline in the level of media coverage of the front locally and in the Arab world, and a relative decline in the momentum of victories among the Yemenis.

Those local leaders considered what happened from the official media in anticipation of the events, motivated by the unbridled desire of everyone to liberate the governorate from the Houthis and the race to gain the scoop, calling on followers and those interested at the same time to obtain information from its sources.

In light of the conflicting news coming from the governorate fronts, the Commander of the Sixth Military Region, Major General Amin Al-Waeli, said - on Twitter-: "Urgent owners have an official spokesperson and any progress is spread through it."

While he confirmed the liberation of Al-Khanjar camp from the Houthi militia  The director of the governorate’s media office, Yahya Qama'a, pointed out that the Houthi media promotion of the camp’s fall "aims to raise the morale of the girnabeel who refuse to go to the desert of death, as they describe it after they have been accused," as he put it.

He denied the suppression of the liberation of Bir Al-Marazeeq, calling for patience and not to rush in publishing, directing his speech to the activists, "Today, the communication sites have become a source of information and a double-edged weapon.

Be sure that your weapon is next to the weapon of your brothers in the service of the holy battle, instead of the other border that supports the enemy "

In the context of the responses on the official website of the Yemeni Ministry of Defense, which attributed a statement to the governor in the context of the news of the liberation of Al-Marazeeq, the spokesman for the Sixth Military, General / Amin Al-Akimi, the governor of Al-Jawf, denied the news in his name about controlling his home, and he also conveyed his assertion that he did not make any statements  A press statement for any channel or newspaper, calling on activists and media professionals to investigate the reliability of reporting news.

The Director of the Information Office, Yahya Qamaa, criticized the same website, saying that "the governor of Al-Akimi is a responsible and a statesman. The statement in his name is a responsible speech that cannot be contradicted, and we will not allow his name to be tampered with in this unprofessional and without responsibility."
