On Thursday, the Arab coalition announced the arrival of 15 Saudi prisoners and 4 Sudanese to King Salman Air Base in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

The Arab coalition appreciated the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, Martin Griffiths, to implement the prisoners' agreement.

The coalition confirmed that it deals with the file of prisoners and detainees within the framework of human principles and values.

Earlier on Thursday, the largest prisoner exchange between the legitimate government and the Houthi militia took place in the city of Sayun in Hadramawt Governorate, southeastern Yemen, under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The first day of the prisoner exchange includes the release of 480 Houthi prisoners in exchange for 250 from the legitimate government, while on Friday, 200 Houthi prisoners will be released in exchange for 251 prisoners by the government.
