Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, released a leader of its members, three months after he was kidnapped and imprisoned in Sanaa.

Suleiman Oweidin Al-Ghouli, appointed by the Houthis to the position of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, announced his release after three months of detention in the Security and Intelligence Service in Sana'a.

Al-Ghouli, a leader in the Houthi militia who defected from the Yemeni Socialist Party, stated that his group had arrested him on charges of "inciting against corrupt people in the rubble government," as he described it.

Al-Ghouli's arrest comes as part of the raging struggle within the Houthi militia due to looting and corruption, which escalated rapidly to include the leaders of the first row.

It is noteworthy that many of the relatives of the leader, Suleiman Al-Ghouli, met their wrestler while they were fighting in the ranks of the Houthi militia, especially on the West Coast front.
