Al-Qirbi: Releasing all detainees will open the door to comprehensive solution negotiations

Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi, Assistant Secretary-General of the General People's Congress Party, considered that completing the release of the remaining detainees for any reason would give hope that negotiations for a comprehensive political solution would begin.
Al-Qirbi stressed, in a post on his Twitter account, that the UN envoy should immediately invite the parties to direct negotiations on the joint declaration document, considering that "the most effective and shortest way to agree."
Al-Qirbi said, "The efforts to exchange prisoners between the two sides of the Yemeni conflict are appreciated and every Yemeni is happy, especially if the release of the remaining detainees is completed for any reason, because this will send hope that negotiations for a comprehensive political solution will begin."
He added, "The envoy should immediately invite the parties to direct negotiation on the joint declaration document, as it is the most effective and shortest way to reach consensus."
