Marib, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Great indignation prevails among the people of the Marib tribes due to the legitimate government excluding the names of its prisoners of war in the Houthi militia's detention facilities from the exchange deal in favor of other prisoners belonging to the Islah party.

The prisoner exchange lists showed the deliberate exclusion that the Marib tribes were subjected to by the government in the UN-sponsored prisoner exchange process, as well as the targeting of the major tribes of Marib, as their detainees were not included in the names of those released from the prisons of the Houthi militia.

The sheikhs of Murad and its activists expressed their disapproval of this unjustified government marginalization and their disdain for their sacrifices, which reached thousands of dead and wounded who were killed in the battles to restore the state from the Houthi militia within the strength of the national army and popular resistance or in the name of the tribe.

They held Sheikh Hadi Al-Haij, the official in charge of prisoners and detainees in the government, responsible for replacing prisoners of the Murad tribe with others from Islah in the prisoner exchange deal announced by the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths at the end of September from Geneva, Switzerland, and took place the day before yesterday via Seiyun airport.

In the context, Sheikh Hassan Abu Asha called on Friday, Murad's fighters in the southern front of Marib Governorate to keep any Houthi captives in places under the administration of those assigned by the tribe.

Abu Asha (one of Murad Sheikhs in the Rahba district, which recently fell into the hands of the Houthi militia), in a brief statement, stressed that the Houthi prisoners should not be handed over to any party.
