The arrival of a fuel ship to Mukalla with signs of a derivatives crisis

On Saturday morning, the ship (Mentor) docked in the float of the Yemeni Oil Company facilities, on the coast of Hadhramaut, carrying 9,900 tons of petroleum.

This comes at a time when the city of Mukalla witnessed the signs of a fuel crisis and a shortage of petroleum, as the company reduced the daily allocations for the filling stations.

The oil company stated that unloading the ship’s cargo into the branch’s tanks and facilities will end in the coming hours, and distribution will be made to the local market.

While Dr. Khaled Salman Al-Akbari, Director General of the Oil Company Branch, indicated that the company's leadership and the local authority are keen to provide all the needs and requirements of the local market in terms of oil derivatives and fuels.

He also assured the citizens of the continuation of the distribution process with sufficient quantities of fuel to ensure the stability of supply in Hadhramaut governorate
