The joint forces in Al-Dhalea governorate launched a violent attack on Houthi militia positions at Murais front, and made qualitative progress towards the Al-Arfaf area and cut off the supplies of the Houthi militia.
A military source said that the 83rd Brigade, the Fourth Brigade, the reserve, the First, Second, and Sixth Brigades, Southern Resistance and the Security Belt Forces fought a violent battle in the early morning hours, which resulted in a strategic advance towards Al-Arfaf, the starboard side of the Murais front.
The southern forces were also able to cut off the main supply route for the Houthi militia, and set up checkpoints, while Houthis was desperate to remain on its positions.
The source explained that the forces had secured Muhqan and the surrounding sites, and were advancing towards the Yazidi house on the eastern axis of Murais.
According to the source, during the attack, Houthi milita killed one of the sheikhs of the Yazidi House after its fear of efforts to coordinate and a coup by the people against it in the villages and areas under its control in Damt District, north of Al Dhalea.
