Lahj, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The leadership of the 9th brigade thunderbolt met with southern forces stationed southwest of Lahj governorate, with the leadership of the Saudi forces in Aden to discuss tension in the Sabaiha district.

The Saudi Forces Command summoned the Southern Brigade after seizing, two days ago, a shipment of weapons in the Habeel al-Tayar area in the Tur al-Baha district in Lahj governorate, which was on the way to be smuggled into the Brotherhood’s camps in the outskirts of Lahj and Taiz.

According to private sources, the Saudi leadership asked the commander of the 9th Brigade, Brigadier General Farouq Al-Kaalouli, to release the shipment and allow it to pass to Taiz.

The sources stated that Brigadier General Farouq assured the Saudi force of absolute cooperation in achieving the goals of the Arab coalition, and that the Brotherhood was mobilizing to provoke battles against the south, and that the seizure of the shipment came in response to the moves and attempts to create military points and sites by the fourth brigade led by the Brotherhood Brigadier General Abu Bakr Al-Jubouli and affiliated with the Taiz axis in the areas of Sabaiha in Tur al-Baha.

However, the leadership of the Saudi forces confirmed that the shipment of weapons to the Taiz axis was intended to confront the Houthi militia, and within the framework of an agreed plan with the leadership of the axis to move the fronts in Taiz, and that it would oblige the leadership of the Taiz axis to withdraw its forces from the areas of Tur Al-Baha to the fighting fronts against the Houthi militia.
