Aden, NewsYemen:

The Specialized Criminal Court postponed the third session that had been scheduled for Thursday to try those accused of the murder of Brigadier General Adnan Al Hammadi, commander of the 35th Armored Brigade.  Because the accused were not brought.

It was expected that the court, during this postponed session, would issue final decisions in the case of the assassination of Brigadier General Adnan Al Hammadi.

Meanwhile, human rights sources accused the criminal prosecution and the administration of the prison in which the defendants are protesting, of delaying bringing them to appear before the court.

The sources said that the President of the Court addressed the President of the Republic and the Attorney General regarding the necessity of obligating the competent authorities to bring the accused to the next session.

It indicated that the presidency of the court had concluded the efforts of the prosecution, the prison administration and the defense lawyer in terms of procrastinating the litigation procedures, by not bringing the accused, as well as by submitting new requests, which led it to address the President and the Attorney General.
