The eastern front of Taiz witnessed an exchange of artillery shelling between the army and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.
A Newsyemen correspondent said that the Houthi militia bombed with artillery the army sites in the Republican Palace, the Muhammad Ali Othman School and a number of sites on the eastern front of Tabab Sofitel, Al-Sallal and Al-Jusha.
While the army artillery bombed the positions of Iran's arm from its positions on the eastern front and Al-Ekhwa position.
According to medical sources, the city's hospitals received 13 wounded, including civilians and soldiers.
The bombing continued from dawn on Saturday until ten in the morning, and the two sides resumed the bombing in the afternoon and before sunset on Saturday.
