The Marib fronts ignite the fiercest battles and the Houthis are approaching the Mas camp

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has intensified the frequency of attacks on the southern and western fronts of the Marib Governorate, after a relative decrease in the intensity of the confrontations during the past days.
Earlier on Saturday, violent battles broke out between the army and tribes on one side, and the Houthi militia on the other hand, during which the latter managed to take control of sites close to the strategic camp of Mas.
Tribal sources told "NewsYemen" that the Houthi militia had taken control of the sites of Al-Safra and Al-Sheiban, reaching Mas station near the camp of "Mas" in Al-Jadaan area.
According to "NewsYemen" sources, six army and tribal fighters were killed in the (Saturday) battles, three of them were from the Jadaan tribes and three were employees of the 125th Brigade of the government forces, while the numbers of the Houthi militia's deaths were not known yet.
In the context, government forces launched artillery shelling on Houthi positions at the Al-Khadkara front, west of Marib, which resulted in deaths and injuries among the militia, according to what a military source told "Newsyemen".
The drug front has been witnessing fierce confrontations since Friday dawn, amid heavy losses among the Houthi militia.
The clashes erupted after an attack by the Houthi militia towards the army and tribal forces' positions on the Nehm and Al-Makhdara fronts, west of Marib.
According to sources, the Houthi militia has taken control of sites overlooking the Maimana supply line and the heart of the drug front in Wadi Madghal and other areas, including the village of Al Shaiban, bypassing the village and Wadi Al Rasaa from the north, the Saher area, and the Mas and Nabaa station.
The Houthi militia also moved towards the Shabwan family and the Duman villages.
In the south of Marib, the army and tribes forces managed to break the violent attack of the Houthi militants on Jabal Al Ahmad, on the outskirts of the Rahba district, south of the governorate.
