Aden, NewsYemen:

Reporters Without Borders revealed that the Houthi militia has released a journalist who has been detained for 3 years and who is suffering from great psychological trauma.

The organization said in a post on "Twitter" that the journalist Bilal Al-Arefi, who has been detained by the Houthis 3 years ago, has been released.

It explained that he is now suffering from a great psychological shock, calling on the Houthi militia to ensure his protection and allow him freedom of movement.

On Monday, the Houthi militia released the photographer, Bilal Al-Arefi, from its detention centers in Hajjah governorate, on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday.

Reporters Without Borders indicated that four journalists are still in detention and that they face the risk of execution since their trial last April.

It indicated that the official Yemeni government released Muhammad Ali al-Maqri last week, while he had been behind bars for more than a year and a half without charge, stressing the need to ensure his protection.
