In his first meeting with the commander of the Saudi forces and the head of the coordination team for the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas thanked the countries of Saudi Arabia and the Emirates for "the fraternal role that the Arab coalition plays to provide all aspects of support and assistance to the Yemeni people."

The governor of the capital, Aden, and the Secretary of Aak, the Transitional Council, received the two Saudi leaders yesterday, after overseeing the destruction of the largest shipment of drugs seized in the port of Aden, appreciating the role of the coalition forces in seizing drugs as part of the coalition’s support for the security sector in the capital, Aden.

The official news about the meeting said that Lamlas and Brigadier General Naif Munif Al-Otaibi, Commander of the Saudi Duty 802 Forces, and Major General Muhammad al-Rubaie, head of the coordination team for the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, discussed "mechanisms for coordination and security and development cooperation between the local authority in the capital Aden and the Arab coalition forces."

Brigadier General Al-Otaibi considered what the Arab coalition forces are doing is a fraternal duty towards the Yemeni people, which ties them to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Arab Gulf states, bonds of brotherhood and neighborhood, stressing the continuation of that support until Yemen is rid of its ordeal and restored to its normal state, as a free Arab country that is not dependent on the enemies of the Arab nation.
