Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The authorities of the “Ben Adiou Brotherhood, the Brotherhood’s governor of Shabwa,” continue their efforts to provoke wars in the governorate in anticipation of implementing the Riyadh agreement, whose government will restore the “legitimacy” arrangement and it is expected that the governor of Shabwah will be replaced as one of the troublemakers in the liberated areas.

Ben Adiou's alliance stepped up its moves, bringing in its relatives from the Abyan governorate and leaders loyal to the Brotherhood, in addition to the statements and actions of Saleh al-Jabwani, the dismissed Minister of Transport.

Ben Adiou presided over a meeting of the military and security personnel in the governorate, promising them to “improve their material conditions,” while al-Jabwani attacked the Saudi ambassador to Yemen, saying that he “seeks to hand over Shabwa to the transitional administration” and exclude him from the government.

Field battles:

Ben Adiou adopts three tracks: the first is the mobilization against the second Marine Corps Brigade, southern forces, whose forces are protecting the "Balhaf facility", which is the largest part of the Yemen gas export project, which is run by the French company Total.

Ben Adiou claims, Shabwa needs the facility even though it is not within the powers of the governor, but rather is managed by agreement between the government and its international partners, and the governor is not present among the government staff represented in the project.

The second is that the governor re-instigates “tribal rebellions” in the governorate, starting with “Al Mohsen Al Mihdhar” and they are a group of “lecturers” who have a marriage relationship with “Abd Rabbo Kaab Al Sharif,” the Brotherhood’s security leader in Shabwah.

Al-Mahadheer are spreading in a number of areas of the governorate, and “Al Mohsen” resides in the Marakha area, which witnessed fighting between the Shabwani elite and Al Mohsen against the background of a wanted man's pursuit of al-Qaeda in mid-2019.

The Ben Adiou authorities are sponsoring a mock sit-in in front of the “Al-Alam” camp, where the coalition forces are demanding revenge from the Elite Forces for that incident.

While tribal sources in Marakha confirmed to "Newsyemen" that the people of the region do not participate in the sit-in, and that it is individuals loyal to the Brotherhood who speak in the name of revenge in an attempt to stir up the tribe.

The loyalty of "Al Mohsen" is divided between neutral, Al-Houthi and Al-Qaeda.

A tribal source said that the tribe tried to abandon its members belonging to both sides, and announced that it had nothing to do with any of them, but the confrontations that occurred in their areas in 2019 showed that the two terrorist organizations still had supporters in the tribe, and the Houthi announced the killing of members of the Al-Mahadheer on his fronts, as there are a number of them on the fronts of al-Qaeda.

In the same context, a statement condemned the tribes of the eastern directorates in the governorate of feeding the local authority to tribal revolts in Shabwa, and the statement said that the sit-in calling for revenge “fuels partisan and tribal conflicts that have not been witnessed in the region for years” by “attracting armed crowds from outside the region and the governorate in general.” Considering that behavior "outside the scope of the state" threatening the security of the Directorate of Jardan, demanding to "quickly raise the camp."

As for the third track, it is “incitement against the coalition” as it is an “occupier of the governorate,” and there is a “Saudi force in Ataq airport, and an Emirati force in Al-Alam camp,” who oversee the military and security situations in the context of supporting the legitimacy that left Yemen after the Houthi militarily controlled the state with all its institutions in Sanaa and in the rest of the governorates, including Shabwa governorate.

The UAE supported the establishment of the "elite" forces that were able to extend the influence of the governorate and expel the Al Qaeda organization that was controlling large areas in the governorate, and the coalition supported the operations to liberate Shabwa from the Houthis, and all this contributed to the province’s return and the appointment of a governor for it, before the Brotherhood forces coming from Marib on the provincial capital in an unequal confrontation between armed forces and security forces represented by the elite.

After the Brotherhood took control of the governorate, all southern activists were banned in it, and those who belonged to the elite or relatives of those who belonged to it were expelled, and executions of elite members or southern activists were carried out intentionally or by mistakeAs for the third track, it is “incitement against the coalition” as it is an “occupier of the governorate,” and there is a “Saudi force in Ataq airport, and an Emirati force in Al-Alam camp,” who oversee the military and security situations in the context of supporting the legitimacy that left Yemen after the Houthi militarily controlled the state with all its institutions in Sanaa and in the rest of the governorates, including Shabwa governorate.
