Sanaa, Newsyemen:

Abdulwahab Al-Sharafi, a leader in the Al-Haq Party, said that the preventive security of the Houthi militia kidnapped Abdulmalik Ali Abdullah Al-Houthi, two months ago, and his whereabouts are not known yet, and his family has not been allowed to visit him.

He added that a group called Abu Fatima was the one who kidnapped Abdulmalik Al-Houthi from his workplace in Dhamar Governorate, without any guilt except that he was a follower of the Twelver sect, he said.

Al-Sharafi said that, for two months, he has been following up on the release of Al-Houthi, but he has not reached a conclusion, and he did not know where his place of detention is, and he obtained only information that he is being held in the criminal investigation, but no one has been allowed to know his fate.

Al-Sharafi indicated, on his Facebook page, that the kidnapped’s family expressed their willingness to provide any guarantees required of them to reveal Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, but they were met with obstinacy and refusal and no one responded with them, despite two months of follow-up.
