Shabwa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

At a time when the Yemenis await the formation of the Riyadh Agreement government, the "Brotherhood" announces the most important reason behind the war of control they waged on "Shabwa" last year, leaving Nehm, Al-Jawf and two-thirds of Marib to the Houthis.

The Minister of Oil and Maan in the caretaker government, Aws Al-Oud, officially announced the approaching date of exporting crude oil from Marib Governorate through a new pipeline that was extended from Marib to Nashima port in Shabwa governorate.

Marib has not supplied any sums to the state’s public treasury since its liberation from the Houthi’s authorities in 2016, and all attempts by the Central Bank to persuade its authority to supply public dues, unlike Hadhramaut, which the government handles oil exports, and Aden, whose resources are used for legitimacy, including the salaries of the Brotherhood’s army in Marib and Taiz called the "National Army."

With the minister's announcement, the Brotherhood will have expanded their financial resources in all the oil and gas governorates, Marib, Hadhramaut and Shabwa, where their armed forces are deployed after they abandoned the western parts of Marib and concentrated around the Safer oil fields.

This explains the state of rejection with which they are trying to thwart the formation of the "Riyadh Agreement" government, as it would threaten their private enterprises.

Al-Nashima port ... another story

In parallel, the announcement of the start of export reveals the mystery behind the Brotherhood’s authorities’s concealment of the accident of two sea mines exploding earlier this month in Nashima during an attempt to export 600,000 barrels of Shabwa oil.

The explosion of the two mines caused damage to the oil pipeline to the mainland, but the port authorities quickly repaired it, according to shipping sources reported to (Newsyemen), who also confirmed that this damage was repaired within less than a day, despite the seriousness of the presence of marine mines on the shore of the Arabian Sea, which is active Al-Qaeda in it, the incident was not raised by the media, it was kept secret, and no investigation was announced into the incident, and the authority of the Brotherhood remained silent and did not comment on the incident at all.

The minister's statement, which has been between Shabwa and Safer for a month, reveals the Brotherhood authorities ’concerns about the impact of this mysterious incident on the reputation of the port, which is considered its gateway to the oil and gas extracted from the oil sectors in Shabwa and Wadi Hadhramaut, owned by companies affiliated with prominent Brotherhood leaders, including Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar.

Whether the two mines are a sign of a hidden movement of arms dealers on the coasts under the control of the Brotherhood, or a conflict between the parties to the oil trade, it will affect the oil deals concluded by the Brotherhood authorities to sell Shabwa and Hadhramaut valley, and soon Marib, at a time when the liberated governorates, specifically the capital Aden and Hadhramaut, are constantly deteriorating In public services, Shabwa plunges into darkness and lives without health services.

There is no official statistics on the quantities of oil that the Brotherhood authorities have exported through the port of Nashima since they took control of it in late August of 2019, following battles with the Shabwani Elite Forces, in which Brotherhood military reinforcements participated from Marib.

However, the last quantity that was intended to be exported in conjunction with the bombing incident amounted to 600 thousand barrels of crude oil, but after the ship was damaged by the mysterious accident, only 400 thousand barrels were exported.
