Lahj, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

A month after announcing the name “Tur Al Baha Axis,” the commander of the Fourth Infantry Brigade informed the Ministry of Defense to change its name to “Northwest Axis - Lahj,” and the theater of its operations has not yet been decided.

The “Fourth Infantry Brigade” was formed by circumventing the 35th Brigade, from Brotherhood members loyal to Major General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar in the Tur al-Baha area, affiliated to the Taiz axis, and both governorates belong to the Fourth Military Region headed by Major General Fadl Hassan, from which no comment has been issued yet.

A few months ago, the brigade command shifted its name to the "axis of Sabaiha", and talk began about brigades that follow the axis as part of the Brotherhood’s efforts to mobilize the Brotherhood to the south after its control of “Al-Hujaria” and its defeat in “Aden”.

It is noteworthy that the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Taiz are considered "a single organizational axis within the administration of the Muslim Brotherhood organization."

The expansion of the Brotherhood to the south triggered rejecting reactions, initiated by the “Sabaiha” tribes, then the southern forces moved blocking the arms supply routes to Taiz, and the Saudi forces in Aden committed themselves to the southern forces to oblige the “Taiz Axis” to commit to its theater of operations against the Houthi in the north, in exchange for allowing the southern forces for the Taiz axis to move between Taiz and Aden and to transfer weapons to its fronts.

All this was followed by the assignment of the Taiz Axis, its staff, to the Fourth Brigade for what he called “the solution to the problem with the neighborhood,” which appeared to be a lack of recognition of the brigade being a “special axis” despite the fact that the Taiz axis was announcing the movements of the leadership of the “Sabaiha Axis” ..

All these moves led to messages between the “Sabaiha Axis” and the Ministry of Defense, revealing “comic plays” about the “Brotherhood” movements within the National Army and in its name and the complicity of the legitimate Ministry of Defense.

Sabaiha axis .. There are many names for an imaginary creature

In a letter from “Brigadier General Abu Bakr Ali Muhammad al-Jabuli”, commander of the Fourth Mountain Infantry Brigade, to the “Minister of Defense,” the man defines his demand for “transferring the theater of operations of the Tur al-Baha axis outside Tur al-Baha in the name of the northwest axis - Lahj.”

In his (attached) letter, the man tells about the problems that accompanied the old name of the axis, "regional dimensions" and "overlapping powers and specializations, and a guarantee of focus on combat fronts and their continued attribution."

The son of the Sheikh of Sabiha Sheikhs, Abdulrahman Jalal Abdulqawi Shaher, had demanded the commander of the Fourth Mountain Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Abu Bakr al-Jabouli, to cancel the axis and remove any military innovations.

"NewsYemen" sources said that meetings were held between the two parties, after the brigade's attempts to impose a military reality on the tribes by the brigade failed, and cut off the only supply road for the Taiz axis that passes from Al Sabaiha.

Al-Jubouli sent a memorandum to the Ministry of Defense that resembles a political statement, as if explaining the justifications for his request, despite the fact that these requests were issued from the Taiz axis, and from the Ministry of Defense, which sent its staff to visit the Major General and did not recognize his name as an axis.”Sources close to the son of the Sheikh of Sabaiha Sheikhs confirmed that Sheikh Abdul Rahman Jalal Shaher will hold meetings in the coming days with other military parties in the region, in order to remove all tensions in the region and spare them "the results of the fighting that were looming in the horizon."
