Al-Jawf, NewsYemen:

Local sources in Al-Jawf governorate reported that the people were able to force the Houthi militia to leave two schools that were turned into military barracks.

The sources said that the Houthi militia, under popular pressure, left Imam Ali School in Al-Hazm District and Aisha School in Al-Matoun District, confirming that the people would reopen them to students.

Sources explained that the Iranian-backed militia, after taking control of the governorate, turned many schools and education offices into military barracks.

They added that the pressure exerted by the people of the two areas and the escalation of protests resulted in the militia leaving the two schools, which are considered one of the most important schools in the governorate to accommodate male and female students.

The sources pointed out that the militia left the two schools after vandalizing them and looting their furniture and supplies, and they are now in need of rehabilitation.
