Aden, NewsYemen:

The head of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Southern Transitional Council, Ambassador Qassem Askar, said that the differences within the legitimacy camp are what delay the announcement of the new formation of the government, indicating that the transitional will not be able to be patient for long.

Askar said, in an interview with "Sputnik" agency, that every party who is under the umbrella of legitimacy is trying to obstruct the agreement after we reached an agreement in principle with the main faction in legitimacy, and the views of the "Brotherhood" reform parties and the General People's Congress, divided into two-fold, according to the speaker.

He added, "When they saw the agreement, some ministers who were present in the previous government put obstacles so that the government would not come to light."

Askar explained, "Basically, the issue of the General People's Congress and reform was, as the Islah Party wants important ministries other than the ministries that were given to it. As for the conference, its problem is in the percentage that was given to it, indicating that the transitional and its members do not want the ministries and positions, but their goal is to reach consensus." And the members of the transitional delegation in Riyadh do not talk about their shares, but rather about the south in general, because there must be a real and clear partnership and that he also obtains his right in the sovereign ministries and important ministries.

The head of the Foreign Relations Committee pointed out that the Islah Party aspires in certain ministries with the aim of what it calls the education of the generation, and we will not allow such matters to reach reform or others who want to change identities, we want there to be a share for the South at the level of the sovereign ministries and ministries of importance, so that the South is not given marginal ministries.

Askar said that announcing the formation of the new government will not be delayed long, given that any comprehensive solution in Yemen requires the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement first before embarking on it, so there can be no comprehensive solution before the settlement between the parties that will sit at the negotiating table, so it is not possible to skip the Riyadh agreement, because this agreement is one of the bases for a comprehensive solution.

He went on to say, "If the legitimacy is delayed in the process of consensus on the Riyadh agreement and the formation of the government, then we will have other ways, the southerners cannot wait indefinitely. We are ready to implement the Riyadh agreement on one side and its time will bear the other parties and the worker responsible for what we will do, as well as legitimacy bears the responsibility because it is in its interest that the solution is delayed.

As long as the formation of the new government is delayed, its life will be prolonged, but our patience will not last for long, it has been a year for the signing since last November 5.

He pointed out that the National Assembly of the Transitional Council postponed its meeting until after November 5, pending a solution, and if there are no solutions, the assembly will meet to decide the next decisions, which in all cases will be greater than the Autonomous Administration that was previously approved by the Council, and the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement will be from one side.

Interim President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi affirmed, "He has made great strides in implementing the Riyadh agreement signed with the Southern Transitional Council last November, with unlimited support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
