Private sources confirmed to NewsYemen, that the issue of revenge between the Al-Hudhaifi and Al-Hatami families in the Ramada area, Al-Adin district, Ibb governorate, has returned to the forefront, but this time in order to end the dispute.
The source stated that Sheikh Abdulhamid al-Shahri, who went out to the region two days ago, pledged to end the dispute that appeared at the beginning of 2011 within a maximum period of 10 days.
The truce, which began more than a year ago, almost ended, like its predecessors, with new victims if some wise people did not enter, and the existence of papers and investigations that had been gathered in order to reach a binding solution for the two parties.
It should be noted that the victims of the revenge between the two families exceeded 18 dead, including children and women, in addition to animals, while more than 40 were injured.
On the other hand, activists circulated a video of clashes and confrontations from a distance of zero, which took place on Thursday, in the "Rahab and Rabadi Triangle" area on the Rafadi line. It was said that there was a dispute over a tree and a plot of land estimated (a quarter of a reed), meaning it does not exceed 5 meters.
The video showed the extent of the chaos the governorate has reached, in which two cousins from the Hajaf Islah al-Rabadi area were killed in the Jableh district.
The governorate witnesses daily murders as a result of the proliferation of militia militants and the absence of security controls that legalize carrying weapons.
