On Saturday, the governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, urged directors of the directorates to communicate with businessmen and investment companies and invite them to contribute to supporting service facilities, cleaning and improvement work.

This came during his presidency of the expanded weekly meeting of directors of all directorates and directors of public works and roads offices, the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, and the State Land and Real Estate Authority.

During the meeting, the governor expressed to Meles his satisfaction with all the activities carried out by the directors of the directorates, which enjoy the approval and satisfaction of the citizens.

He stressed the importance of these activities and their positive impact and their repercussions on the lives of the citizens of those directorates and their daily livelihood, calling for intensifying activities aimed at solving a number of cumulative problems that were and are still a legacy that burdens district managers, stressing that they must be given the utmost attention and priority in the daily work program until its radical solution..

Today's meeting schedule included a number of points, most notably the assessment of the level of implementation of the decisions and mandates of the previous meeting, as well as hygiene and sanitation, revenues, the issue of land seizure, random construction and removal of obstacles, in addition to other developments at the governorate level.

The meeting discussed the problem of collecting revenues, especially taxes and duties, that all directorates suffer from, and the relationship between the leaders of those facilities and the local authorities in the directorate, and in this regard, the meeting decided to hold a joint meeting between directors of directorates and managers of revenue institutions.

It also discussed two reports on violations, the first submitted by the Director General of the Public Works and Roads Office, and the other by the State Land and Real Estate Authority on violations in this area.
