Aden, NewsYemen:

A military commander in the legitimate forces, in Al-Jawf governorate, northeastern Yemen, revealed, on Saturday, that General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, Vice President, had attempted to bribe him in exchange for stopping criticism of the practices of corruption and favoritism in the National Army.

The commander in the army, Abdullah Al-Ashraf, posted on his Facebook page a picture of him with Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, on November 5, 2020, saying: I did not ask to meet him, but they asked to meet me.

Al-Ashraf, who is famous for criticizing the leadership of the National Army, which he accuses of corruption, nepotism, and the involvement of partisanship in military action, said: "I wanted to serve our cause and our country, but I was surprised that the goal was to silence the voices and sums of money and the country is the last thing they think about and we did not take anything from anyone."

He added: My advice to any leader or minister who is still hoping for the deputy through a meeting or meeting, do not tire yourselves ... the country is dying and will be funeral to its final resting place as long as the deputy’s hand is in control of the military file.
