Shabwa, NewsYemen:

The depletion of diesel fuel caused the Shabwa power station to be out of service since last Wednesday, which led to power shutdown in the areas and villages of Shabwa Governorate.

A local source confirmed that electricity has been cut off in the governorate’s directorates three days ago, and the shutdown has reached more than 20 hours in all the governorate’s directorates, including the capital Ataq.

The source explained that the reason for the power shutdown was the depletion of "diesel" stocks from the main station in Ataq.

Citizens explained that their suffering was doubled due to the frequent power shutdown for long periods and disruption of their work.

The people of Shabwa denounced the power cut in the oil governorate, considering this a result of the mismanagement of the authorities in the province.

Media affiliated with Ben Adiou Sata blamed the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia not to grant entry permits to a Shabwa electricity oil tanker at Nishtun port in Mahra.

Electricity is witnessing neglect and a major deterioration in its services, and electricity goes off in all areas and villages of Shabwa from time to time for various reasons.
