Governor Lamlas makes a surprise visit to the post office building and stops its general manager

The Governor of the Capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, today, paid a surprise visit to Aden Post, where he was briefed on its conditions and a direct review of the progress of work there.
The governor arrived at the General Postal Administration building at nine o'clock in the morning, in the absence of the general manager.
Because of the administration’s absence from work, its perceived negligence, lack of concern for cleanliness, and complaints from citizens reviewing the mail, which resulted in disrupting citizens ’transactions and interests, the governor directed that the director general of post be suspended from work.
During the visit, the governor met with a number of citizens at Khor Maksar Post Office, who submitted a number of complaints to him about the ill-treatment and procrastination they were subjected to while receiving their salaries.
The governor stressed on facilitating citizens' transactions, stressing that their complaints are taken into consideration and work to address and reform postal conditions.
