Aden, NewsYemen:

Presidential Advisor Abdulaziz Al-Muflhi said, on Monday, that the final touches to the formation of the new government emanating from the mechanism to accelerate the Riyadh Agreement between legitimacy and the Southern Transitional Council have been completed, and is expected to be announced within days.

Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper quoted Al-Muflhi as saying, "The formation of the government completed all procedures, and that the obstacles that were present were overcome by giving priority to the supreme interest of the country, and by the efforts of the brothers in Saudi Arabia and the coalition."

He added, "Regarding the formation of the government, all procedures were completed. Some parties were late in submitting the names of their representatives, but this was completed days ago."

Al-Muflhi clarified that "the matter is now on the table for President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi pending approval of the names," praising in this context "the efforts of Saudi Arabia and the coalition to push with full force and positively to reach an agreement between the various parties."

The presidential advisor considered that the formation of the government "represents a glimmer of hope to regain control, build state institutions and provide services to citizens who suffer greatly."

He said, “Citizens suffer greatly, and the suffering has reached something unbearable, whether in the services sector or the issue of salaries and their interruption for a very long time, and I think that the state of distress that the citizen experiences in the liberated areas may push him to do negative things if this matter lasts for a long time, and therefore the formation of the government It represents a glimmer of hope to regain control, build state institutions, pay salaries, etc.

In addition, the Saudi newspaper quoted well-informed Yemeni sources, who did not name them, as saying, "The implementation of the security and military aspect of the Riyadh Agreement will be implemented simultaneously with the announcement of the new government," without giving further details in this regard.

The interim President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi confirmed at the weekend that the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement is in the interest of the country and uniting everyone’s efforts to achieve the common national goal of building a fair federal state and defeating Iran's project in Yemen and the region, expressing his confidence in the Kingdom in implementing the Riyadh Agreement and the mechanism for accelerating it.
