Mouzea, NewsYemen:

The Emirates Red Crescent provided 16 tons of relief and food aid to 200 displaced families in Al-Hameli area of Mawzea district, west of Taiz.

The aid contains shelter tents and foodstuffs, as well as medical staff to examine sick cases.

Abdulrahman Al-Yousifi, the representative of the Crescent in the coast, said that the Crescent Authority is on its way to reach those in need of aid, and that this convoy is part of the unlimited support that the UAE gives to Yemen to lift the damage on the shoulders of the affected citizens, which is a priority and that the Crescent Authority is in continuous giving without interruption.

200 families live in the camp, which were displaced from the contact lines in the Al-Barah region, which is under constant bombardment by the Houthi coup militia, and have taken up residence in a valley in the safe Hamli area.

The Crescent aid comes in response to a distress call made by the local authorities in the directorate to provide relief to the displaced and provide food and relief assistance with the onset of the harsh winter season.
