Lahj belt thwarts an attempt to smuggle 240 bombs into the soil of Taiz

 The Security Belt Forces in the Tur al-Baha sector in Lahj Governorate (southern Yemen) seized hundreds of hand grenades while trying to smuggle them as part of a shipment of medicines to Al-Turbah city in Taiz governorate.

The commander of the security belt in Tur Al-Baha region, Captain Abdel Fattah Al-Wadoudi, said that a truck without a plate was stopped in the Qadimi area, and during the inspection process, 240 grenades were found hidden among various treatments, including "insulin".

He added that during the investigation, the driver reported that it was sent from the Amazon store in Sheikh Othman in Aden, to the governorate of Taiz, without mentioning the recipient, which was confirmed by the owner of the shop, who said that the shipment was sent to the city of Al-Turbah.

In connection with this, the "Al-Saqia" point affiliated with the Security Belt Forces in Al-Madarba District in Lahj seized a (Volvo) tanker loaded with a smuggled fertilizer shipment on its way to Taiz.
