Aden, NewsYemen:

The Deputy Head of the Media Department of the Southern Transitional Council, Mansour Saleh, confirmed that the delegation of the Council participating in the negotiations of the Riyadh Agreement informed the Saudi side of its intention to leave and disclaim its responsibility regarding the commitment to the ceasefire regarding the military confrontations in Abyan Governorate.

Saleh said, in a statement carried by "Sputnik" agency, that this measure is due to the repeated attacks by the forces of the "Brotherhood" government on the southern forces, the latest of which was yesterday, Monday, which caused a number of deaths among the southern forces, and that this was considered a clear insistence by the government not to implement the Riyadh Agreement and deliberately disrupting it.

The southern leader confirmed that the council made many concessions to reach a peaceful settlement of the existing crisis with the government, but this was met with irresponsible actions by the other party, which relies on the policy of distributing roles among its parties between opponents of the agreement and another working to procrastinate and waste time.

Saleh said that the southerners wasted a lot of time searching for peace with forces that do not understand the meaning of peace, and only absorb the language of force, indicating that this force "is still an option and is presented to the southern armed forces to defend the safety and security of the land of the south and the interests of its people." According to his saying.
