The Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said, Tuesday, that the Brotherhood is a "deviant terrorist group that does not represent the approach of Islam."

The authority added, in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA): "The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist group that does not represent the approach of Islam, but rather pursues its partisan goals that contradict the guidance of our true religion.

It explained that the Brotherhood "is a deviant group, based on the conflict of rulers and dissent against rulers, stirring up strife in countries, undermining coexistence in a single nation, and describing Islamic societies as ignorant, and since the establishment of this group, it has not shown interest in the Islamic faith, nor the sciences of the Qur’an and Sunnah, but rather its goal is to reach power, and then the history of this group was full of evils and strife, and from its mercy emerged extremist terrorist groups that ravaged the country and the people corrupted by what is known and scenes of violent crimes And terrorism around the world. "
