Dhu Bab, NewsYemen:

The Emirates Red Crescent launched a cooperative humanitarian campaign under the slogan "With the Teacher" at Al Shaab School in Dhu Bab District.

The campaign aims to help volunteer teachers in West Coast schools by distributing food to alleviate their suffering due to the interruption of their monthly salaries due to the deteriorating economic situation the country is going through as a result of the civil war imposed by the Houthi terrorist forces.

The Red Crescent Organization approved 40 tons of foodstuffs to be distributed to volunteer teachers who deliver their educational mission in West Coast schools, starting with the principals of Dhu Bab al-Mandab, Mocha, Mawza, and al-Waziya, in the west of Taiz governorate and up to the districts of al-Khokha, Hays, al-Tuhaita, Beit al-Faqih and al-Durhaimi on the coastal strip of Hodeidah governorate.

The distribution process was attended by the leadership of the Education Office in the Directorate of Dhu Bab and the administrative body and the teaching staff of the schools of Al-Shaab and Al-Hikma in the district.

"This campaign comes as a culmination of the new school year 2020-2021, with the aim of helping the teacher in foodstuffs to alleviate his suffering and so that he can perform his educational mission to the fullest," said Abdulrahman Al-Yousfi, a representative of the Crescent in the coast.

Al-Yousifi indicated that the campaign will continue to include the eight liberated directorates on the West Coast.
