The Council of Scholars of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia issued a categorical statement criminalizing the mere sympathy with the "Brotherhood" as a group hostile to nations and corrupt religions.
At the same time, the Saudi state deals with the Yemeni Brotherhood, the Islah party, according to its false claim that it is not an arm of the Brotherhood organization in the country, and it is still dealing with the Yemeni Brotherhood, and it hosts members of the local organization.
Yasser Al-Yafei, the southern journalist, asked, commenting on the statement, by saying: How can they be supported in Yemen on the basis that they are birds of paradise?
The Saudi authorities classified the Brotherhood as a terrorist organization years ago, and prohibited their activities on its territory.
The Kingdom has provided huge financial and military support to the Islah party since the summer of 2015 on the grounds that it is fighting the Houthis, despite the fact that the party fails in all its military battles against the militia in northern Yemen, and uses Saudi weapons against the victorious parties against the Houthi.
