Aden, NewsYemen:

The spokesman for the coalition forces in Yemen, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, announced that the coalition naval forces monitored this evening, Wednesday (November 11, 2020) an attempt by the terrorist Houthi militia to carry out hostile and terrorist action in the southern Red Sea by using two remote-controlled booby-trapped boats launched from the Hodeidah governorate.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki added that the two booby-trapped boats, which represent a threat to regional and international security, shipping routes and global trade, were destroyed.

Brigadier General Al-Maliki indicated that the terrorist Houthi militia is using Hudaydah governorate as a place to launch ballistic missiles, drones, and explosive and remotely piloted boats, as well as randomly deploying marine mines, in a clear and explicit violation of international humanitarian law as well as a violation of the provisions of the Stockholm ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah.

He stressed that the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition continues to implement strict and deterrent measures against this terrorist militia and to neutralize and destroy such capabilities that threaten regional and international security.
