Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Informed sources revealed to "NewsYemen", indirect negotiations between the interim president, Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi, and the Houthi group, for the release of Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi (Hadi's brother), and Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, the former defense minister.

This is a projection of all the agreements sponsored by the United Nations and celebrated by the United Nations at the time regarding the all-for-all agreements, as it appeared in the “Sweden” agreement.

The sources said that the Houthi leadership stipulates the restoration of 400 members of its prisoners, in exchange for the release of Major General Nasser Hadi and Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, who have been held with them in Sana'a for nearly five years.

The militia demands the release of 200 of its prisoners in exchange for the release of Hadi's brother, and 200 others in exchange for Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi.

According to "NewsYemen" sources, President Hadi did not find a response on the part of the forces affiliated with the "legitimacy" due to the Brotherhood’s control over its decision, and their endeavor to release civilian detainees held by the Houthi members who were arrested outside the fronts, and that there are presidential attempts with southern forces to support a swap deal for the president's brother and Subaihi.

The Houthi militia had arrested Major General Nasser Mansour Hadi, Major General Mahmoud Al-Subaihi (Minister of Defense) and Brigadier General Faisal Rajab, commander of the 31st Armored Brigade, during the battle of Al-Anad Air Base in Lahj Governorate, south of the country in March 2015.

The Houthi militia uses its detainees as a bargaining chip and blackmail to restore the largest number of its captured fighters as a result of its need for fighters, as the Houthis return their released members to the fighting fronts, as soon as they are released.
