Al-Mahra, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The legitimate authorities have begun the procedures for opening new customs within their areas between Al-Abr and Al-Ruwaik in the east of the country, while the customs of the depository are Hadramout and the shipment of Al-Mahra, which are official customs outlets sufficient to demarcate the goods imported through the ports.

Heavy transport truck drivers said that the eastern line has three customs ports: one belonging to the Houthi militia and two customs follow the legitimacy, while no government has previously approved two customs demarcation stations in one crossing line.

The drivers of freight transport asked: "How can a customs house be opened in the framework of that government, and how do you collect customs and draw the decree ... customs inside customs and a government within a government ?!"

The cargo transport sector said that "a large plot of land was taken off next to the line between Al-Abar and Al-Ruwaik, and pounding was done to demarcate the goods on top of the trucks.

The truck drivers added that when they leave the deposit, the first customs and delimitation are in the deposit, which is affiliated with the legitimate government, the second customs and the new delineation between Al-Abr and al-Ruwaik follows the legitimacy and the third customs and the customs delineation of the Sana’a government affiliated with the Houthis.

Carriers of goods considered opening new customs and adding a new burden on citizens as a result of merchants charging additional costs for delineating their goods.

Cargo transport drivers said that merchants have no objection to demarcation and payment, because the merchant, even if he pays customs at twenty stations, will add a payment to the purchase invoice, and whoever bears the heavy cost is the citizen.
