The Director General of the Sah Directorate, Mubarak bin Aboudan Al Jabri, said that work continues on the (Rasb - Sah) road connecting the directorates of Wadi and the coast of Hadhramaut, whether asphalting or construction works.
Regarding the delay of the project, whose completion period has expired according to the contracts, Al-Jabri said, in a statement to "NewsYemen": “Rainfall and the flow of torrents on the road, in addition to excavation factors and the explosion of rock blocks caused this delay, but he stressed that work on asphalting the normal road is continuing and will be finished with the end of this year ”.
Al-Jabri, who assumed the position of director of the directorate a few months ago, confirmed that the local council is pressuring the contractor to complete the vital and important project, because it will contribute to the flow of transport between the coastal areas and Hadhramaut Valley, taking into account “adherence to technical specifications and standards according to the study prepared for the project.
The length of the project is 22 kilometers, at a total cost of four million eight hundred thousand dollars from the Hadhramaut oil sales share.
