On Sunday, the “Murad” tribe, the largest tribe in Marib governorate, attacked statements by the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen, Abdullah Saatar, who said that he “stabbed its tribal honor,” and held it responsible for the fall of “Mas Camp”, at the hands of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.
The Murad tribes confirmed in a statement that Zaatar "slipped - with his statement - unexpectedly and fell into the political and tribal taboo", accusing it of "being weak and identifying with the Houthis" against the background of the fall of the Mas camp - which is located in the theater of operations of the National Army and in the "center of gravity of his political organization.", referring to the Islah party.
The statement denounced, "The sacrifices of the Murad tribes were challenged by a sheikh who lives under the spray of air-conditioned rooms," while they "stood up to the moment an impregnable fortress in front of the Houthi hordes over a year of fierce war."
It denounced "everything that was said by Saatar," and warned, in the context, "every leader, sheikh, and soldier in the legitimacy," which it described as "softness" of "any mention that offends Murad and its people."
The statement called on the Murad tribes, the leaders of the legitimacy, to "assume their responsibilities before God and the people, and work with sincerity on the ground and avoid the rivalries that serve only the enemies of Marib and those who lie in them."
Murad tribes, in their statement, stated that they had "sacrificed four thousand martyrs until this moment, and fought alone on behalf of a state army whose leaders are spending open vacations in hotels in Turkey and Riyadh."
