Aden, NewsYemen:

US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien said on Monday that options for the United States are open to dealing with the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen.

In an interview with reporters, during his visit to the Philippines, he stated that Washington is constantly studying the classification of Al-Houthi as a terrorist group, and called on Al-Houthi to move away from Iran and stop attacking neighboring countries.

The US official criticized the Houthi militia for failing to engage in negotiations, and for showing good intentions to end the conflict in Yemen.

He explained that Washington has been monitoring the situation closely throughout the recent period, pointing out that the decision to designate the Houthis will be on President Donald Trump's agenda during his remaining term in the administration.
