Ibb, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Informed sources reported to NewsYemen that one of the leaders of the Houthi militia in Ibb governorate directed to convert a sports stadium into a cemetery.

The sources confirmed that the Houthi leader, known as Abu Al-Hassan, who was appointed director of the Al-Wafr District, "Rehab" region, had directed to convert the area of the Al-Wafr club’s only stadium into a cemetery, and had begun to inaugurate its first tomb.

Many citizens and interested people from the region confirmed their disapproval of this behavior, especially since there is more than one cemetery in the region.

It should be noted that the Houthi militia had looted and turned many lands into mass graves to bury their dead who fell on the fronts.

In mid-September last year, Hammoud Abbad, appointed by the militia as the trustee of the capital, with the superintendent General Khaled Al-Madani and under the direction of Ahmed Hamed, inaugurated the "Rawdat Dar Al-Hamad" cemetery, which was built in the courtyard of the famous historical landmark "Dar Al-Hamad" Palace in Al-Zaraa Street in the heart of Sanaa. Its area is 1000 blocks.
