The Socialist Party calls on the governor of Taiz to evacuate public and private facilities from the military barracks

The leadership of the Socialist Party Organization in Taiz governorate, on Tuesday, during a meeting with Governor Nabil Shamsan, demanded that public and private facilities be evacuated from the unnecessary military barracks in the besieged city.

In the meeting, which brought together the first secretary of the Yemeni Socialist Party in the governorate of Taiz, Bassem Al-Hajj, Shafiqa Ali Ahmed, the second secretary, and the governor of Taiz, she pointed out the importance of protecting public resources from looting and stopping security and military interference in the performance of the revenue.

The Socialist Party Organization in Taiz stressed the interest in the file of the forcibly disappeared, and the work to reveal their fate, release them and make reparation for their harm.

It also called for an end to the campaigns of incitement and atonement against activists and the poor employment of mosques.


The leadership of the socialist Taiz placed before the governor of the governorate a number of files related to strengthening the role of the local authority in the governorate, stressing on activating the principles of good governance, restoring the consideration of public office, activating efficiency standards upon appointment, and activating oversight and accountability.

The leadership of the Taiz socialist also emphasized some issues related to the security and military files, noting the importance of protecting public resources from looting and stopping security and military interference in the performance of the Iranian authorities.

It called on the governor of the governorate and the local authority to give priority to public services, the most important of which are health, education, electricity and water, and to direct humanitarian aid to serve the needs of these priorities, stressing the importance of stopping attacks and harassment of public sector employees in the governorate and holding the perpetrators accountable, and standing in the face of the exclusion attempts practiced against some employees.
