Al-Bayda, NewsYemen:

An official document of the Yemeni Ministry of Defense revealed the operations of forging statements and seals that were involved in the perpetration of leaders of the Islah party, which resulted in the failure to complete the formation of one of the Al-Bayda Axis brigades.

The telegram issued by the Director of the Personnel Affairs Department, Colonel Al-Khader Saleh Ali, and addressed to the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Al-Maqdashi, regarding the numbering committee for the 181 Infantry Brigade, indicates that the minister received a memorandum in the name of the brigade commander, whom he denied knowledge of.

The telegram of the Personnel Affairs Director confirmed that a decision had been taken to suspend the committee’s work and “withdraw it until the problem is over,” as he put it.

As a result, Brigadier General / Abdulqawi Abdullah Salem Al-Humayqani, Commander of the Al Humayqan Resistance, Commander of the 181st Infantry Brigade, issued a clarifying statement regarding the committee and the revelations, saying: “We have no knowledge of this committee and we did not follow up on its descent and we did not present or baptize any statements for this purpose and that this work was done without our knowledge . "

He added, "Our concern was to complete the brigade's procedures in the correct way, and we were surprised by this procedure, which was supposed to be done before the brigade was structured and the actual force was restricted and to find a camp or a rear for it."

A source in the al-Humayqan family resistance explained that the telegram dated December 24 clarified the process of falsifying lists carried out by reform leaders to exclude the resistance of the Hemeikan family from the strength of the brigade, which had a presidential decision to include its members within the Al-Bayda Axis forces and forging a telegram in the name of Al-Humayqani, the commander of the brigade.

The leaders of the Humayqan resistance were quoted as saying that these revelations were recorded by the Islah party for its cadres and members to dominate the brigade, and they had nothing to do with it.

The leadership of the resistance released its responsibility for these revelations, while at the same time the leadership of the Islah party was responsible for this manipulation, exclusion and marginalization.

The same document also revealed that the leader of the Al-Bayda Axis, Brigadier General Abdul-Rab Al-Asbahi, loyal to the Islah party, continues to carry out his duties despite the Minister of Defense’s instruction not to deal with him.

Regarding the reasons for the arrest of Brigadier General Al-Asbahi, the source explained that this came after he was accused of being involved in the Houthi militia’s sweeping of the Axis areas, starting with Radman District and reaching the directorates in the southern governorate of Marib during the battles that took place in the northeast of Al-Bayda in June and July.
