The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, launched a violent artillery bombardment, Saturday, January 2, 2021, targeting the villages and farms of Al-Jabaliya, southwest of Al-Tuhaita.

Displaced people from the Al-Jabaliya area who live in the Al-Muteena area said that they saw dozens of shells fired by the Houthi militia from the east of the Moghars area.

They added that they were mourned by the destruction and blowing up of their homes due to the shells that fell on them.

The residents indicated that their farms were also burned after the shells fell on them, describing the horrific scene that the shells burned the Basbas and okra crops that they planted during this year.

It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia, early last year, deployed large minefields in farms in the middle and east of a mountainous region, but valleys swept them away and cleared vast agricultural areas of them, which allowed farmers to resume their agricultural activities in it.
