More than 9 thousand members of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, were killed by the fire of members of the government forces and the popular resistance and the raids of the coalition air forces, on the various battle fronts, during the year 2020, according to the monitoring unit in the Media Center of the Armed Forces.

The monitoring unit said, "The total death toll from the Houthi coup militia from January to December was 9,328" dead. "

Among these dead 688 persons impersonating higher military ranks, 15 of whom impersonate the rank of (Major General), 47 others impersonate the rank of (brigadier), 114 impersonate the rank of (colonel), 94 impersonate the rank of (lieutenant colonel), 103 impersonate the rank of (Major), and 126 others impersonate the rank of (Captain)  ).

Last October was the deadliest month for militias, during which 1220 Houthis were killed, followed by September with 700 people, and August with 696 dead.

The Monitoring Unit documented, citing its own sources, and relied on what was broadcast by the coup militia through its media.

In addition to the human losses, the Iranian Houthi militia incurred other great losses in equipment, including the destruction of 27 weapons stores by coalition air strikes and government fire, in addition to the destruction of 573 vehicles and combat equipment, 395 of which were completely destroyed and 178 partially destroyed.

During the same period, members of the government forces and the Popular Resistance shot down 104 Houthi drones, including Iranian suicide planes.
