Soldiers from the 22nd Mika Brigade loot relief aid for the displaced in Al Shaqab, south of Taiz

An armed group, from the 22nd Mika Brigade, looted relief aid belonging to one of the organizations, on its way to the Al Shaqab area, east of the Sabr Al Mawadim District, south of Taiz Governorate.
Local sources told NewsYemen that armed men from the 18th Battalion, 22nd Brigade, interrupted a car carrying about 50 food baskets intended for the displaced and affected people in the Al Shaqab area, confiscated them and assaulted the driver.
The displaced appealed to the authorities concerned to seize the gunmen and return the stolen relief aid.
Al Shaqab residents complain of repeated attacks by soldiers of the 22nd Mika Brigade in the area.
