Maeen calls for better revenues and spending control, and Lamlas introduces the capital's development program

In two separate meetings, one of them via video call, Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik discussed with the governors of the liberated governorates the conditions of the governorates, especially the capital, Aden.

The Prime Minister chaired a special meeting in “the capital, Aden.” The governor of the capital, Secretary-General of the Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas listened to “about the problems and challenges in the capital” and “the vision of the leadership of the local and executive authority to deal with them.”

He presented to the meeting "the emergency development program, and the required support from the government."


In the meeting, which was attended by officials of the executive and service offices and directors of directorates, a certain exchange of appreciation was expressed, as the Prime Minister praised “the diligent work of the local authority under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Lamas, and the efforts made by them are the subject of support and appreciation of all.” He responded to Lamas, noting “interaction and support for the work of local authority by the prime minister and the government.


In the official news about the meeting, the Prime Minister said that "the presence of the state and our ability to rise and cohesion is not difficult," and "there is a clear vision and plans that will be approved soon."


 In addition, the Prime Minister said that the governors of the governorates are “the pillar of the state’s survival,” calling for, in a meeting with the governors of the liberated governorates, through a visual communication network, to “improve revenues and redistribute spending priorities.” He said, “No one will help us if we do not help ourselves first.”


The Prime Minister discussed with the governors the government program that is being prepared, raising security readiness, improving services, and supporting battlefronts against Al Houthi.
