Dutch ambassador to Yemen: The Houthis are an extremist group and they do not respect Yemeni human rights

The Dutch ambassador to Yemen, Peter Derek, called the Houthis "an extremist and closed group".
He stressed in an interview he conducted on the air with Radio Netherlands (NPO1) that the Houthis do not respect human rights, youth and women, and obstruct humanitarian work in Yemen.
The ambassador condemned the bombing of Aden airport with missiles during the arrival of the Yemeni government on the 30th of last December, considering it an aggressive and criminal operation.
In response to a question posed by the broadcaster to the ambassador about the possibility of meeting the Houthis, Derek said that this matter is very difficult and that the Houthis are a heavy and uncooperative group.
