In his speech, the military official emphasized that the violation, that is, the followers of Sheikh Hamoud Al-Mikhlafi, are the cause of all problems in Taiz and must be confronted ... and he called them "the Mughals."
Information obtained by NewsYemen indicates that Salem, the prominent Brotherhood leader who is at the forefront of the military scene in Taiz as the strongest Brotherhood leader, is planning to strike al-Mikhlafi’s forces with the local forces in al-Hajriyah and the forces of the Fourth Brigade, a mountain infantry as a party, as well as the Brotherhood’s forces present in al-Turbah, security and military.
According to information, Salem is moving to confront Al-Mikhlafi’s forces in Al-Hujaria with the forces of the 35th Armored Brigade and the Special Security Forces that do not support the Muslim Brotherhood in addition to the Fourth Mountain Infantry’s forces and the Brotherhood’s groups in al-Hujaria, in addition to mobilizing the people of the local areas against Hammoud al-Mikhlafi’s forces.
Salem believes, according to the information obtained by NewsYemen, that Al-Mikhlafi strengthens his military presence in Al-Hujaria and in the city of Taiz simultaneously, and if he continues in the private recruitment of the Mikhlafi, Salem does not rule out that Al-Mikhlafi will carry out a coup against the regular forces and restore formations to the beginning of the war within the framework of popular resistance, which is What the followers of Al-Mikhlafi call explicitly.
The developments of the revival of the Tor al-Baha axis recently came as part of Salem’s moves to break out of the Mikhlafi siege of his influence in al-Hujaria, where Salem feared that Sheikh Hammoud would attract the leaders and most important members of the Fourth Mountain Infantry Brigade in Tor al-Baha. On the soil and the coastline.
Military sources in the Taiz axis say that Salem and Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi's orientations towards the south and the coast are no different, but Salem does not accept the presence of a force in Taiz outside the Brotherhood’s control, even if the leader of this force is Brotherhood.
According to the sources, Salem submitted a proposal to distribute Al-Mikhlafi’s forces on the axes of Taiz and Tor Al-Baha, to accommodate the leaders loyal to the Mikhlafi in military positions, and that President Hadi and the coalition would be persuaded to do so, but Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi refused and confirmed that he would not return to the Saudi tent, according to his description.
In the context of the military escalation between the two sides, Salem deployed joint forces from the security, army and Brotherhood militants in the city of Turbah to expel any presence of Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi's forces in the city as a prelude to reducing his influence in Al-Hujaria.
The military police forces present themselves as a neutral force or a peace-keeping force to separate the two parties, in addition to the forces of the Fifth Brigade, a Presidential Guard, but the sources confirm that the Military Police Commander and the Commander of the Fifth Brigade are carrying out tasks and a temporary role in favor of the Brotherhood, and that in time of war they will fight alongside Salem and against Al-Mikhlafi Forces.
The coming days will reveal the most important developments in the conflict and the possibility of the Supreme Brotherhood leaders intervening to end the clash and discuss a formula to contain Hammoud Al-Mikhlafi’s rebellion, who presents himself as the right to lead Taiz militarily, being the first to form the resistance to confront the Houthi militias.
