Aden, NewsYemen:

On Thursday, the United Nations Security Council will hold an open session, chaired by Britain, on Yemen.

The UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, is expected to brief the Council, in addition to the Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Relief, Mark Lowcock, as well as Ronda King, Ambassador of Saint Vincent and the Grandeans, and Chair of the United Nations Committee in Support of the Hudaydah Agreement (NMHA).

After the open session, the Security Council will hold a closed session of consultations.

It is likely that the Council will issue a statement calling on the Houthis to stop the military attack on Marib and stop the missile attacks and bomb attacks against Saudi Arabia.
