Aden, NewsYemen:

A member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, said, on Wednesday, that the Muslim Brotherhood’s authorities in Shabwa and Marib rebelled against the Riyadh Agreement and the formal government of parity stemming from it by refusing to hand over the revenues of the two governorates to the Central Bank in Aden.

Al-Awlaqi said in a Facebook post: “The Brotherhood’s authorities and militias in Marib and Shabwa are still refraining from supplying the revenues of the two governorates to the central bank in Aden, in an outright rebellion against the Riyadh agreement and the government that emerged from it, and these resources are being employed on purely partisan agendas.”

Al-Awlaqi added, "While Aden, which supplies fully to the Central Bank, is rewarded with deprivation, and its local authority has been left to operate without a budget since Ahmed Hamid was appointed to Meles as governor of the city."

Al-Awlaqi indicated: "If the government is unable to oblige the Islah authorities and militias to supply to the Central Bank of Aden, and is unable to fulfill Aden and its people by allocating a budget for services and projects from the city's resources, then it is a weak government and not worthy of managing this sensitive stage."

Al-Awlaqi concluded his post, warning of a popular revolution, where he said: "The anger of the people is great, and their suffering is greater. I advise the government and the sponsors of the Riyadh Agreement to avoid the spark of this anger."
