Aden, NewsYemen:

The Deputy Head of the Media Department of the Southern Transitional Council, Mansour Saleh, stressed the council’s adherence to dialogue as a value, considering it the best way to solve complex issues and problems, denying any call for dialogue with the "Houthis" group.

Saleh said in a statement to "Sputnik", on Wednesday, that the transitional council head Aidaroos al-Zubaidi's interview with the British newspaper "The Guardian" was clear, which means that the control and uniqueness of any party in the rule of the North and the cessation of the war will ultimately impose a dialogue for this party as a representative of the North with the Southern Transitional Council as a representative of the people of the South.

He added, "If the Houthi group is the controlling force in the north, then dialogue will be with it, provided that this is under international sponsorship that guarantees the implementation of the outcomes of this dialogue."

Mansour Saleh said, "The transitional leadership has not and will not demand a specific northern Yemeni party or force for the dialogue and did not specify a specific name. Rather, it always confirms that the dialogue that the southerners mean is the dialogue of the north and the south, and the council will adopt the demands and aspirations of the people of the south and reject any compromise that detracts from these aspirations."
