Aden, NewsYemen:

The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Nayef Al-Hajraf, condemned, on Thursday, the launch of the terrorist Houthi militia ballistic missiles at the city of Jizan in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, targeting civilians and civilian objects.

Al-Hajraf emphasized that the continuation of these terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia reflects their blatant defiance of the international community and their disregard for all international laws and norms.

He pointed out that this matter requires the international community to take an immediate and decisive stance to stop these repeated terrorist acts that target vital and civilian installations.

He affirmed the solidarity and stand of the Cooperation Council with the Kingdom and its support in all the measures it takes to defend its lands, preserve its security and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The administration of the US President, Joe Biden, announced that it would continue to pressure the Houthi leadership due to their attacks on Saudi Arabia, while at the same time working with all concerned parties, stressing that "there is no military solution in Yemen."
